Schüschke

Silver Investment Partners strengthened its footprint in industrials and manufacturing, when Schüschke GmbH & Co. KG was bought in December 2015.

Since its foundation in 1986, Schüschke has grown into a leading industrial player in the region of Tübingen/Reutlingen. The core business is the development and production of wash basins made of mineral material Varicor® for washrooms in civil aircrafts. The company is an exclusive Tier 1 supplier for Airbus. Apart from aviation products, Schüschke also manufactures tailormade wash basins for public buildings, such as kindergartens, hospitals, laboratories and hotels.

As an ideal addition, the mineral material producer Varicor was bought in 2017. Schüschke and Varicor are kept as separate entities but join forces to explore new applications for the material and realize attractive growth opportunities together, such as interior fittings for ships and trains. Research and development capacities are being expanded accordingly.
